One-Day Workshop (8 hours of training)

Psychodrama as a therapeutic technique as coined and developed by Jacob Moreno, a younger contemporary of Freud and Jung, in 1921. It is founded on Moreno’s theories of developmental and abnormal psychology and is widely used around the world and a therapeutic intervention for such issues as addictions, trauma, depression, marital and couple therapy and personal and spiritual growth. In this one-day workshop, participants can expect to: * Learn the basic fundamentals of psychodramatic theory * Learn to use some action-oriented techniques * experiment with and observe components of an action method * Learn how action therapies such as psychodrama can be used in conjunction with other therapeutic modalities , ie CT, DBT

Mike Lee M.Div. TEP

Mike graduated from the University of Manitoba with a degree in pastoral psychology. Mike lives in Sundridge Ontario, where he works with trauma issues as a concurrent disorders therapist. Mike is a skilled facilitator and trainer for the Toronto Centre for Psychodrama and Sociometry. He has been involved with the TCPS for 19 years developing his deep love for psychodrama, and its close sister sociometry, and is looking forward to sharing this wisdom with you!
